We want to give you a huge welcome to Oasis. We believe that church should be fun, enthusiastic and life changing. Take a few minutes to explore this site but the best way to find out more about Oasis is to experience it! Why not come this Sunday? Our welcome team will greet you and point you in the direction of coffee and light breakfast in the Cowdery Room from 1015 and then our meeting starts at 11am. Come nice and early and chat to some of the nicest people in Portsmouth! You don’t want to miss a thing! Starting from April 1st we even have free back ,neck and shoulder massage before the meeting!
At the end of March , we started our season on Emotional Intelligence. Our aim at Oasis is not just to make sure that you have secured your place in Heaven and have your past forgiven but we also want to provide you with the tools to successfully navigate through life and relationships. When you watch this week’s O News you’ll hear Michael Buble singing. Nice song but we used it to illustrate the wrong thinking that we hear daily , not because we believe “You’re nobody until Somebody loves You”. You don’t need anyone else to make you somebody!
This Sunday we are looking at the subject ’Resolving Conflict’ . Our relationships are the most important things for us in life. They can bring us the greatest pleasure but they can also bring us the greatest pain! What does the Bible have to say when relationships go wrong? Do we have to leave behind us a trail of broken friendships and relationships just because we were hurt and disappointed?Is there a way to get things fixed? Come and learn with us as we examine these important subjects.
